Ingredients
- 110 g butter
- 1 orange zest
- 90 g dark chocolate 64%
- 2 eggs
- 50 g brown sugar
- 40 g cornstarch
- 2 g of baking soda
- 100 g of Cruzilles® candied orange cubes
- 30 g pecans
Steps in the recipe
1. Prepare the butter and chocolate.
Melt the butter in a double boiler. Add the orange zest and let infuse for 10 minutes off the heat. Then add the chocolate to the hot butter and stir until completely melted.
2. Prepare the brownie mixture.
In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, brown sugar, flour, and baking soda. Add the melted butter and chocolate mixture and mix well until you have a smooth batter.
3. Add the toppings
Cut the candied oranges into small cubes and lightly coat them with cornstarch. Add the candied orange cubes and pecans, which have been roasted beforehand (15 minutes in the oven at 150°C), then mix gently.
4. Cooking
Pour the batter into a 6 × 6-inch square pan. Bake at 320°F for about 25 minutes.
