Fruit Candies

Cruzilles is reinventing candy

As a long-established Auvergne confectioner, we’ve decided to shake things up with the launch of a unique new line: a series of fruit candies, made in France from French fruit, some of which bear a PGI designation.

Fruit candies that are unique on the market

Fruit candies or fruit-flavored candies? Unlike other candy makers, we’ve decided to put the fruit front and center. Natural flavor, no fruit juice concentrate, no artificial colors, additives, preservatives, or animal gelatin— just fruit puree. How do we do it? By reducing the amount of fruit puree in a traditional jelly to create a fruit gel.

This innovation comesasthree studies have just been published. They point to links between food additives (colorings and preservatives) and an increased risk of cancer, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease (INSERM).

French, sustainably produced fruit candies

The new line of candies is part of an initiative centered on premium, responsibly produced French candy. Here, it’s all about flavor: intense, authentic, and made with a short list of ingredients, thanks to our recognized artisanal expertise. We are thus positioning ourselves in a strong market segment: premium confectionery, for consumers who seek the pleasure of candy and the rich flavor of fruit—and, above all, a safer and healthier product.

We develop our traditional products and new offerings based on four pillars: the excellence of artisanal craftsmanship dating back more than a century, respect for the fruit and its flavor, a commitment to artisans and chefs, and, of course, a responsible and sustainable approach.

Three Levels of Pleasure

Fruit candies with a soft center

These hard-shell candies celebrate iconic French flavors. They offer a combination of crunch and sweetness in flavors such as Corsican clementine (IGP), Burgundy blackcurrant (IGP), Lorraine mirabelle plum (IGP), blueberry, and apricot.

Tart and chewy fruit candies

Generously fruity fries—their delicately tangy coating will enhance the explosion of flavors on your palate. Fruits: apricot, cherry, strawberry, apple.

Delicious, melt-in-your-mouth fruit candies

Rabbits, hearts, houses, or stars—these candies play with shapes and textures. Their waxy coating—used here in place of sugar—reveals a perfectly melt-in-your-mouth center.
